Businessman and former councillor dies

He was admitted to hospital after he exhibited Covid-19 symptoms – family.

Lucky Vusi Manzi, a businessman and former councillor of Mohlakeng died in a private hospital in Krugersdorp on Friday, 29 January.

According to his family, Manzi, 68, was admitted to hospital after he exhibited Covid-19 symptoms. He was laid to rest at the Greenhills Cemetery on Thursday, 4 February.

Among those in attendance was Kenny Mampondo, Chief of the Rand West City Traffic Department. The sad news comes just weeks after Jacob Mabaso Marite, 51, a Mohlakeng councillor, also sadly passed away after contracting Covid-19 in early January.
