Another missing person case reported

Police in the West Rand are appealing to the public for any information about a 61-year-old man's whereabouts.

Another person has been reported missing on the West Rand.

Solomon Makgalemane, 61, from Carletonville was last seen leaving his home on 26 March 2018.

According to Captain Eddie Boboko, the West Rand District Police spokesperson, Makgalemane’s brother was informed that his brother had left and the door was left opened.

Makgalemane’s brother went to the place and found a woman who told him that she tried to stop his brother, but he pushed her away and walked away. He has been missing since then,” Boboko said.

Boboko said Makgalemane is approximately 1,64 metres tall and was wearing grey trousers, an orange Cat T-shirt and black Nike trainers. He speaks Setswana.

Police are appealing to the public for any information about Solomon’s whereabouts by contacting 018 783 9022/ 24, or the investigating officer Dikeledi Nomandla on 073 390 1549.
