WATCH: Fitness session in aid of baby sanctuary

The three said Just In Time Baby Sanctuary is very close to their hearts and decided to help.

Beauty queens held a Zumba dance session in Randridge to help raise funds for Just In Time Baby Sanctuary on Saturday, 31 October.

Charlotte van Wyk, who is a finalist for Mrs Randfontein 2020 and her daughter, Judy, a Miss Randfontein 2020 finalist joined efforts with Nadine van Staden, Mrs Krugerdorp Curvé, to help the financially ailing foundation.

“Just In Time is very close to our hearts and after seeing the story about its struggle in the Herald, we’ve decided to do something for them by helping with the things they needed,” Nadine said.

She added that their efforts are very valuable as they are helping to ensure that the centre is sustainable and able to take care of its children who are all vulnerable.

“We realised the sanctuary needs help and charged people R50 to attend the session. At the same time, why not get the blood pumping, especially after months of lockdown,” Charlotte said.

She encourages people in Randfontein to visit Just In Time’s Facebook page and see what the sanctuary needs.

“Let’s all support their journey.”

They have also thanked people who have made donations that will also be handed over to the sanctuary.
