The 4th EuroMillions Superdraw – November 20 – has a guaranteed €130 million pay-out

Over the last few years, nearing on two decades, there have been several lucky winners of substantial pay-outs globally with the EuroMillions offering some of the largest.

On November 20, the €130 million pay-out, equal to 2.4 million ZAR, is yet another grand prize. With the date set for the fourth 2020 EuroMillions Superdraw on November 20, a lot of anticipation has been building around this event.

EuroMillions and the EuroMillions Superdraw

The EuroMillions is a transnational lottery which requires seven correct numbers to win the grand pay-out. The EuroMillions Superdraw is one of Europe’s most exciting draws which usually only takes place two to three times a year. This year, however there is a fourth special draw announced on the November 20. Superdraws operate under the same rules as standard draws with the difference there is always a massive jackpot guaranteed.

EuroMillions 2020 Superdraws and results

During February 2020, the first EuroMillions grand prize was won by a Spanish player who took the €130 million jackpot. During July 2020, the pay-out was not won and rolled over to the next draw. The third Superdraw in 2020 happened in September. The jackpot worth 130 million was won by a single winner from Spain. Yet, another lucky player has the chance of bagging a guaranteed €130 million in the upcoming Superdraw. Players will be waiting in anticipation for the EuroMillions results to see whether their ticket will beat the 1 in 139,838,160 odds of bagging this substantial prize.

EuroMillions largest ever prize

In October 2019, one lucky player gathered the total pay-out of €190 million, approximately 3.6 million ZAR. During this event, the jackpot hit its cap for the fourth time ever since its inception, making the player the holder of one of the most substantial EuroMillions winners ever. Since the launch of EuroMillions in 2004, the UK alone has experienced its fair share of 79 winners of substantial pay-outs, with the latest success, the €190 million, being the largest in the history of the country. Taking into consideration that, before the 2019 win, the largest win had been a total pay-out of €190 million, which had been won by one lucky winner from Spain in 2017, it forms part of five of the largest wins of all time for EuroMillions. The pay-out in question had seen a record-breaking 18 rollovers which resulted in the top pay-out being pushed to its maximum and going over another four draws before it was finally won by one incredibly lucky player. This led to the draw in October 2019 reaching a ‘Must Be Won’ status where the €190 million pay-out became a guaranteed give away. If it had not been claimed by a single player, the pay-out would have been shared between winners in the next tier.
