Man dies in horrific car crash – Traffic chief urges road users to drive responsibly

In this particular incident, the driver lost control and the vehicle ended up on its roof, killing the victim instantly.

Following the death of a 32-year-old man in a car crash on the R28 near Mohlakeng at around 5.30pm on 9 October, Kenny Mampondo, chief of the Rand West City Traffic Department urged road users to exercise caution.

In this particular incident, the driver lost control and the vehicle ended up on its roof, killing the victim instantly.

“We are heading towards the festive season, and we would like to urge all our road users always to drive with caution.

“As law-enforcement agencies we will be clamping down on unruly behaviour, especially drinking and driving,” Mampondo said.
