The event went quite well – we had a fun-filled day with young and old coming out in their traditional outfits to display their various cultures,” Enrique said.

He added that they partnered with Toekomsrus Show, and ordinary members of the community who enjoyed different elements of entertainment on stage.

Bramley Mochobela, Toekomsrus Show spokesperson said, “We as the youth in this area have been silent for way too long. Therefore, we are now aiming to create our legacy through sport, art and culture by partnering with organisations such as WAWA in the fight against gender-based violence and femicide.”
