EPR’s latest report: Suicide, theft of motor vehicles among 12 incidents

EPR General Manager said their client base revealed at least 12 incidents during this period that ranged from vehicle theft and damage to property to suicide.

EPR Security on the West Rand has released its crime report for the period from Friday, 31 July to Sunday, 2 August.

According to Johan Krogh, EPR General Manager their client base revealed at least 12 incidents during this period that ranged from vehicle theft and damage to property to suicide.

Vehicle thefts were reported in Greenhills and Culemborg Park.

“In both incidents, Toyota vehicles were targeted.

We urge motorists to ensure that their vehicles are properly and securely locked before leaving them unattended,” Krogh said.

In addition, Krogh said, there were three incidents of damage to property across Randfontein; one incident of trespassing in Greenhills; one business break-in on Main Reef Road and one fire incident in Helikon Park.

Furthermore, Krogh said a theft was reported in Greenhills.

“An attempted suicide and suicide incidents were also reported in two separate areas in Randfontein. Our condolences to the relevant families and friends,” he concluded.
