While several clinics in the West Rand District are scheduled to open today (9 July), the West Rand District Health Services (WRDHS) has announced that others will be closed until further notice.
Services remain suspended at the following clinics:
Mogale Sub District
• Luipaardsvlei clinic
• Land is Wealth clinic
• Krugersdorp central clinic (will be closed later today for decontamination)
• Jan Mare clinic in Krugersdorp West
Rand West Sub District
• Ya Rona clinic
• Bekkersdal East clinic and
• ML Pessen in Randfontein (to be closed later today for decontamination).
“All other clinics that were reported to have been closed are open today,” said Thuso Montwedi of the WRDHS communications department.
They are:
• Dr Martinez Ramirez clinic in Munsieville
• Kromdraai clinic
• Odireleng Maponya clinic in Kagiso
• Rietvallei clinic
• Thusong clinic in Kagiso
• Fanyana Nhlapo clinic in Kagiso
• Bekkersdal West clinic
• Westonaria central clinic
