Aranda blesses with the gift of warmth, since 2006!

‘We have been receiving quality blanket donations from Aranda Textiles for the past 13 years’ – beneficiary.

The days and nights during these winter months are cold and many suffer in these chilly conditions.

Clover Mama Afrika is fortunate to have loyal project partners, one of which is Aranda Textiles that has been donating the gift of warmth to the organisation since 2006.

“We have been receiving quality blanket donations from Aranda Textiles for the past 13 years. To date, we have received over
5 000 blankets! It is amazing that we hear from our Mamas, that one blanket keeps up to four children warm.

“All of our loving Mamas received blankets this year, which they then distributed to the children in their care, caregivers, as well as the elderly,” explained Prof Elain Vlok, Clover Manager, Clover Mama Afrika Trust.

“From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to thank Tom Kritzinger and Peter Frost of Aranda for their generous, annual donations that help keep our mamas and those in their care warm,” said Elain.

Clover Mama Afrika, Clover’s corporate sustainability initiative, aims to empower women in communities across the nation with various vital skills such as cooking, baking, sewing, quilting, business management, and food gardening.

Over and above the training sessions, these Mamas are all supplied with the necessary tools, equipment and infrastructure to create an income for themselves in order for them to give back to their communities.
