Shopping centre donates care packages to its car guards

"We would like to thank Pick n Pay in particular for assisting with packaging and delivering these grocery packs."

Key West Shopping Centre understands that Covid-19 has become a challenging part of everyday life for all South Africans.

The nationwide lockdown announced by the President meant that its car guards had to stay home and not earn a living during this period.

On 27 April, the Key West management handed out care packages filled with essential grocery items and non-perishable goods to all 37 its car guards to lend them a helping hand during these challenging times.

“We would like to thank Pick n Pay in particular for assisting with packaging and delivering these grocery packs.”

We gracefully take this opportunity to thank our community for their on-going and valued support. We would like to reach out to our shoppers and assure them that we are committed to playing our part in preventing the spread of Covid-19.

We are taking all the necessary precautions to make sure that the Centre remains a safe space for you, your loved ones, and the community we serve. We urge customers to wash their hands regularly, keep a safe distance from others, and adhere to coughing and sneezing etiquette,” a communique from Centre management said.
