Inquest opened into woman's death in Hillside.

Randfontein Police say an inquest has been opened into the death of a woman on a plot in Hillside.

Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson, confirmed to the Herald on Monday, 4 May that a woman’s body was found on Friday, 24 April.

“Police arrived on scene and found a woman lying on the floor with a firearm next to her. She was declared dead by paramedics. We are investigating the case,” she said.

The woman’s age is unknown at this stage.
