A suspect was apprehended by Mapogo A Mathamaga Security for vandalism and malicious damage to property in Grosvenor Street, Culemborg Park on Friday, 3 April.

According to Herman Coetzee, Operations Manager at Mapogo, a resident of Grosvenor Street made the reaction officer aware of a person forcing open a mini substation’s doors.

“The reaction officer requested backup from his colleagues when he noticed the suspect who had forced open the door and started stripping the mini substation. Backup arrived and the reaction officers managed to apprehend one male suspect for vandalism and malicious damage to municipal property. His ‘tools of the trade’ were also confiscated.
