Biker seriously injured in Randgate crash

A man sustained serious injuries when his motorbike was involved in a crash with a bakkie at the intersection of Botha and Stegmann Streets in Randgate yesterday, Tuesday, 31 March just after 7pm.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the motorcyclist, an adult man, sustained serious injuries and required advanced life support interventions to stabilise him. Due to the nature of his injuries, a Netcare 911 helicopter airlifted him to hospital for the specialised care that he required,” said Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 spokesperson.
