Covid-19: Pageants in Randfontein, Krugersdorp offically postponed
Major pageants in Krugersdorp and Randfontein the latest to be officially postponed amid coronavirus outbreak.
The Mr, Miss and Mrs Randfontein as well as Mr, Miss and Mrs Krugersdorp pageants are the latest events in and around town to be officially postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak and nationwide lockdown.
According to Janine van Loggerenberg Ferreira, Randfontein model and CEO of Randfontein and Krugersdorp Pageants, “Due to unforeseen circumstances caused by Covid-19, we had to postpone all dates for Randfontein and Krugersdorp Pageants and decided to have a joint pageant to fit in with the new rules and regulations set out by our President.
“We have every intention to abide by all prescribed measures as to ensure that we do our part to help prevent the spread of this virus. Please also note that entries for both pageants will remain open until 1 May 2020.”
