Eskom has announced that it will be implementing stage 1 rotational load-shedding tomorrow, 9 March, from 9 am. This will continue until 11 pm.
The power utility stated this may continue until Thursday. This is due to a number of units currently on unplanned breakdowns, which will only return to service during the course of the week.
Eskom further stated that implementing load-shedding will put it in a better position to meet the rising demand during the week.
