School shoes donated to the needy
Needy kids of Toekies receive over 60 pairs of school shoes.
A total of 65 pairs of school shoes have been donated to needy children of Toekomsrus on Thursday, 5 March.
This was made possible by the Myburgh Foundation.
According to Randy Christian, co-founder of the foundation, of the 65 pairs, 40 were pairs were brand new and 25 second-hand.
“With this initiative, we are glad to put smiles on the faces of needy children,” Randy said.
He added with the with winter season fast approaching, they will collect and distribute a total of 80 jerseys for the needy.
“We humbly urge community members to support our initiatives in aid of vulnerable children and the youth as well as to bring about positive change within our community,” Randy said.
