Caxton Local Media, PizxAR announce latest R10k winner
The latest winner of Caxton Local Media and PixzAR’s competition is from Verwoerdpark.
Congratulations are in order for Verwoerdpark resident Mahir Naicker who won a whopping R10 000 after taking part in Caxton’s PixzAR competition.
Mahir, a second-year law student, told the Alberton Record (Herald’s sister publication) he was stunned when he discovered he had won the competition.
“After getting back from varsity late last year I would read about the PixzAR competition. I told myself I would start participating after completing my exams and at first I was unfortunate, but as the new year started things changed and I became a winner,” said Mahir.
He said he plans on using the money towards his tertiary fees and encouraged people to also take part in the competition.
