“The 28-year-old Uber driver allegedly received a request on his app to pick up two men at Baragwanath in Soweto and drive them to Randfontein. He picked up the pair and as he drove towards Randfontein, he was surprised when they instructed him to turn into the R559. They threatened him with a firearm and instructed to him stop. They covered his head, tied both his hands and threw him into the boot of his car,” Lefakane said.
