FJL Wells teachers sharpen first-aid skills

Educators at FJL Wells Primary Mine School sharpened their first-aid skills following a visit by Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital recently.

The educators from FJL Wells Primary Mine School received first-aid training from the staff of Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital on Wednesday, 20 November.

According to Sello Mphatswe, the deputy principal of the school, the day gave the educators an opportunity to sharpen their skills and broaden their knowledge of what to do in emergency situations.

“We are glad that our educators now have the necessary skills to help our kids. By simply performing CPR or the Heimlich Manoeuvre, they could save a life,” Mphatswe said.
