The Myburgh Foundation NPO has taken the initiative to collect toys, second-hand clothes and school stationery to donate to the less fortunate children of Toekomsrus and Mohlakeng this festive season.
“We are aiming to spread joy this festive season to approximately eighty children who are in need. On the day of the handover, we will also distribute food hampers to the children who are from single-parent households,” said Randy Christian, the founder and operations manager of the Foundation.
Randy said the organisation will be initiating a school holiday programme in which children will be warned about bullying, peer pressure and their personal safety.
He also thanked those who have come on board to support the project.
