Residents of Randgate remain unhappy about the sewage spillage in Union Street.
According to Cina Erasmus, councillor for the area, it has been a never-ending battle for the past three months.
Erasmus said residents cannot even enjoy the comfort of their own homes as result of the stench the sewage is causing.
“We have tried by all means to alert the municipality about this mess, but so far nothing has come of our efforts. This is an extremely unhealthy state of affairs,” Erasmus said.
