FJL Wells Primary Mine School marked Career Day on Friday, 25 October when learners of the school were dressed according to their preferred future professions.
According to Sello Mphatswe, the deputy principal of the school, the event was held to encourage learners to get a feeling of what they hope to become when they complete school.
“We had a fun-filled day. The learners came dressed as doctors, police, paramedics, lawyers and even teachers. The idea was for learners to start preparing what they want to be from a young age. They were encouraged to work hard to pursue their dreams,” Mpatshwe said.
