Have a Heart Care Centre gets into the festive spirit
Children and adults enjoyed a Christmas party at Have a Heart Care Centre in Elandsvlei to end the year.
The elderly were treated to a Christmas party held at Have a Heart Care Centre in Elandsvlei on Saturday, 26 October.
The event was held by Wings of Inspiration Care in conjunction with the Green Seeds Team from Nedbank for their Christmas Party Initiative.
According to Anthea Da Costa, director at Wings of Inspiration Care, all three of their subsidiaries, Wings Sober House, Have A Heart Care Centre for the Elderly and Dorah’s Ark Orphanage, were invited to the Christmas party.
“The Wings of Inspiration Care team would like to thank the Green Seeds team for helping with a lot of projects this year. You ended with an amazing Christmas party that everyone enjoyed and we had lots of fun during the day,” said Anthea.
The children played on the slip ‘n slide, the elderly sat in the shade enjoying snacks and men from the Sober House tended to the braai and even played with the children.
According to Anthea, everyone enjoyed the day and they wish everyone a happy festive season.
