Cars washed in aid of the SPCA

The Rand West SPCA held a Car Wash Day fundraiser in Culemborg Park on Saturday, 12 October.

Shimoné Schoombe, coordinator of the event, said although the turnout was not as great as expected, the SPCA appreciated all those who arrived to have their cars washed for the cause.

“The purpose of the fundraiser was to improve the financial state of the organisation so that all the animals are well taken of,” Shimoné added.
