Roadblock on R28 the start to Transport Month

The Rand West City Traffic Department joined forces with other law enforcement agencies to mark the start of Transport Month.

 

The Rand West City Traffic Department and other law enforcement agencies made their presence felt and marked Transport Month by conducting a roadblock on the R28 towards Westonaria on Wednesday morning, 9 October.

Others involved in the operation and roadblock on the R28 were the Randfontein Police, Gauteng Traffic Police, Gauteng Department of Public Safety, Gauteng Safety Promotion and the CPF.

“People should always remember that safer roads start with their behaviour,” said Daniel Rantsho Moeletsi of the Westonaria Traffic Police.
