Five people were injured when a bakkie and a light motor vehicle collided on Bank Road in Carletonville on Saturday night, 6 October.
According to Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, ER24 paramedics and other emergency services arrived at the scene at about 7pm and found both vehicles in one lane of the road.

“Medics assessed the patients and discovered that five people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. Patients were treated at the scene and thereafter transported to various hospitals for further medical care,” Meiring said.
He added that exact details surrounding the incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
