#ThrowbackThursday – 18 September 1987

Die Herald gaan ver terug na 18 September 1987 vir hierdie week se #ThrowbackThursday.

Dit is #ThrowbackThursday en die Herald kyk vandag na die nuusgebeure waaroor daar in sy 18 September 1987-uitgawe berig is.

In dié uitgawe het ons aangekondig dat die 20 finaliste van die Mej en Mev Randfontein 1987-kompetisie aangekondig sou word.

Die Herald het intussen met Dalien Steenekamp, Mev Randfontein 2018 gesels oor die skoonheidskompetisie en waaroor dit gaan. Dit blyk dat dit nie net oor skoonheid gaan nie, maar oor heelwat meer.

Laerskool Betsie Verwoerd’s scholars were treated to a free hamburger by Mr Apie Kotze at the Wimpy’s 20th birthday this week.
Entin Westonaria celebrated their 25th anniversary this past week. At the party were Mayor James and Mrs Gerber, Mervyn and Mrs Jacobs, (peeking out from behind) Karin Cronje, Hans and Rita Jacobs and Mrs and Mr Gavin Jacobs.
