Calling all Pokémon Go fans

Join PoGo-Randfontein for their first ever Community Day right here in Randfontein – today.

Fans of the augmented reality mobile game Pokémon Go have been urged to attend PoGo-Randfontein’s Community Day to be held from 11am to 2pm in Uitvalfontein on Sunday, 15 September.

According to Stefanie Wolfaardt of PoGo-Randfontein, this will be a first time ever event.

“With the fifth generation Pokémon to be released soon, Pokémon Go (also known as PoGo), is still a worldwide number one grossing game on PlayStore. And right here in Randfontein, we have our own community of players. New players join almost daily as they discover the world of Pokémon within Randfontein and we’re looking to grow our numbers to take on other regions within the West Rand with PvP battles. We implore people to join us for our Community Day and become new members.

“At PoGo-Randfontein, we want our members to feel like they belong as we love to keep our members together regardless of the type of player. All who share our vision are welcome and we would be happy to welcome more like-minded players.”

Stefanie said PoGo-Randfontein is a gaming community established on the West Rand with the aim of providing a safe and friendly social gaming environment.

“It is founded on the principles of supporting each and every member and to ensure gaming remains a fun and friendly experience. We are a growing and active community with PoGo-players of all levels, ranging from strictly casual players with limited time through to the master players, who are a great asset to the community and regularly help and offer advice to new members.
