Annual general meeting to held by Carryou Ministry

Carryou Ministry to hold its AGM in Toekomsrus next week.

Carryou Ministry will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) at 576 Apple and Jukskeirivier Streets in Toekomsrus on Friday, 30 August.

The meeting will start at noon.

Carryou Ministry, founded on 1 February 2000, is a non-profit organisation involved in orphan and home-based care for the sick and elderly, as well as people affected by HIV/AIDS.

According to their Facebook page [https://www.facebook.com/pg/Carryou-Ministry-235371426562353/about/?ref=page_internal], The ministry started when the Anglican Church, St John the Divine, based in Randfontein asked a member of the congregation (Sister Pam) to attend an AIDS trainer of trainers course, as more and more people were turning to the church for assistance in dealing with the trauma of HIV and AIDS. She completed the course and began caring for a number of patients in Toekomsrus.
