The needy in Toekies uplifted

A number of gospel of artists held an outreach programme for the needy community in Toekomsrus for Women's Day.

Evangelist Wayne Josiah and Pastor Brian Barends were also part of the initiative.

A band gospel of artists has taken the initiative to reach out to the community in which they fed the hungry and addressed socio-economic challenges in Toekomsrus on Women’s Day, Friday, 9 August.

Pastor Dwain Ponsonby, Minister Curt Godwyn Hardy, Evangelist Wayne Josiah, Natasha Daniels, Pastor Brian Barends and Angelo Vaaltyn joined hands to make the outreach programme a reality.

“We wanted to spend with the people and encourage them. The aim was to make sense of their lives again, because we have realised that a certain portion of society has been destroyed by things such as drugs,” said Dwain.
