Westonaria mother of three missing for a week

A young Westonaria mother of three never returned after visiting the shops.

Police are searching for a Westonaria mother who disappeared exactly one week ago.

Clarissa Grobler, 24, the mother of three children – two sons aged seven and eight years old respectively and a daughter aged three – was last seen leaving home at about 2.30pm on Thursday, 18 July.

According to Tania Opperman, the head of the Missing Persons for South African Support Initiative (Sassi), Grobler told her mother that she was going to the shop, but she never returned.

“She was wearing a black T-shirt, blue denim ski-pants, white flip-flops and a brown jacket. She has a scar on the right side of her forehead and a black tribal tattoo of a scorpion on her right ankle.

“She is approximately 1,57 metres tall, has brown hair and eyes and weighs 72kg.”

Opperman made it clear there is no waiting period to report missing persons.
