Father and son injured in weekend crash

A 6-year-old boy and his father were injured in a collision between their vehicle and two bakkies on Blyvoor Road in Carletonville on Saturday afternoon, 20 July.

Ross Campbell, ER24 spokesperson said ER24 paramedics arrived at about 3.10pm to find the vehicle stationary in the street.

“The father, in his 40s, had suffered moderate injuries but his son was seriously injured. They were both treated on the scene before being transported to Carletonville Hospital for further care.

“The police were on the scene for further investigations.”
