This year, Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital went out of its way to celebrate Mandela Day in true Madiba style.
According to Ofentse Pharumele, the client relations officer at the hospital, they spent 18 July at two local schools.
“We visited FJL Wells Primary School in Bongweni and Kgothalang High School in Bekkersdal as part of our Health and Hygiene Drive,” she said.
They spoke to 184 schoolgirls and addressed issues such as hygiene, menstruation and teenage pregnancy.
