Fire incidents become more prevalent during the winter season, simply because we are using various methods to keep our houses warm – among these being gas heaters.
According to André Keyser, who also trades in cylinders, gas heaters can be dangerous if not used properly or not in the right condition.
“Check the manufacturing date of the gas bottle. Make sure it is not older than 10 years,” he said.
He further warned that the public should only make use of reputable companies when they refill their gas bottles.
