Power outage hits Westonaria

The Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) has confirmed the power outage in Westonaria and that it is being investigated.

According to Tshidiso Thlaripe, RWCLM spokesperson, electricians have been dispatched to the site to find the cause of the outage as a matter of urgency.

“It has come to our attention that the problem relates to Eskom. We will consistently liaise with them in order to speedily resolve the problem,” Thlaripe said.

He added the municipality will constantly update both affected ward councillors and the community on any developments.
