Aranda honoured for their kindness

Aranda received a certificate of appreciation for having donated blankets to keep the elderly warm this winter.

The Spirit of Christ Ministries handed a certificate of appreciation over to Aranda on Wednesday, 3 July.

This was to thank them for donating 68 blankets to the less fortunate members of the church late in May.

Thloriso Phake, an elder member of the ministry who handed over the certificate on behalf of the church, said Aranda has shown that it cares about the people in its town.

Peter Frost of Aranda receives the certificate of appreciation from Thloriso Phake of Spirit of Christ Ministries.

“This token to Aranda is the only way for us to express our gratitude for what they have done.

“So far, this year’s winter has proved to be one of the coldest in years, therefore this has indeed been a wonderful gift to the needy people in our community. We thank the Aranda management for showing humanity in the warmest way possible,” Thlrosiso said.

Peter Frost, the company’s national sales manager, said the initiative was part of Aranda’s corporate social investment programme to make sure that those in need are cared for.

“We are inundated with requests from various organisations every year, and we always allocate budget for this project. We try to spread it as widely as possible to reach the most needy in communities. We ensure that those who need them most receive our donations,” Peter said.
