Body with gunshot wounds found near cemetery

Bekkersdal Police have launched an investigation after the body of an unknown man with gunshot wounds was discovered near the Bekkersdal cemetery last week.

According to Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, the Bekkersdal Police spokesperson, “The motive for the killing is unknown to the police but investigations are continuing.”

She said the body was found at about 9.30pm on Wednesday, 26 June.
