The theme of the RPA’s Winter Charity Drive is ‘Seeking a little human kindness’.

Marcelle Mans, RPA Managing Director explained, “We believe in giving back to the community we serve. It’s at times like this that one becomes aware of how many people of all races live in dire poverty and we are grateful to be able to make a difference for some of them. We would like to thank those RPA members and local companies, including Aranda Textile Mills, Tiger Brands and RCL Foods who also made a contribution to the Charity Drive this year.”

Since 2000, the RPA has donated food, clothing and blankets to almost 40 NGOs as well as countless needy individuals and families, waste pickers and homeless people.
