Forty Toekies youngsters to go on spiritual trip

A total of 40 youngsters will have the opportunity to engage in invitational excursions, team building and Bible studies to enhance their spiritual well-being in the Western Cape.

A total of 40 youngsters from Toekomsrus are set to visit the Western Cape on a spiritual journey organised by the Myburgh Foundation.

According to Randy Christian, who founded the foundation, the trip to be undertaken between 20 and 28 June will give the youth an opportunity to engage in various activities such as invitational excursions, team building and Bible studies to enhance their spiritual well-being.

Avishar Willemse, Jeneave Oosthuizen and Ciyana Johnson are among those who will be going to Cape Town.

“We are doing this because spiritual well-being is of the utmost importance. We also want them to enjoy sightseeing while on this trip,” Randy said.

He added that for the first three days of the trip, the youth will be camping and doing Bible studies in Wellington.

“They will then head to a camping site in Cape Town where they will remain until they return home.”

Randy continued to say that considering the many social ills in Toekomrus, the purpose of the trip is to expose the youth to the spiritual side of life and broaden their spiritual experience.
