The management of Village Square Shopping Centre has once again shown that they care by providing blankets, soup and medical tests to the Mohalekeng Old Age Home on Tuesday, 11 June.
Sasha-Lee Hackenburg, Marketing Coordinator at Village Square, said that they wanted to give back to the community and realised that the elderly can’t come to the shopping centre so they went to them to donate blankets for the winter.
“We also got Shoprite on board and they brought a mobile soup kitchen as well as nurses from Medirite to do health checks and medical tests,” she added.
