Two-vehicle crash in Carletonville left two people injured.

Two people were left injured when two light motor vehicles collided on Van Zyl Smit Street in Carletonville recently.

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, said the accident occurred on Saturday, 8 June.

“ER24 personnel arrived on the scene at about 9.30am to find the two vehicles on the same side of the road. One man was found seated inside one of the vehicles while another man was found walking around on the scene. Medics assessed the men and found that one had sustained minor injuries while the other had sustained moderate injuries.

“The men were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby private hospitals for further care.”

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
