R’fontein parkrun postponed

Randfontein’s first ever parkrun, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, 15 June, has been postponed until further notice.

Sydney James, the Randfontein parkrun event director, said this is because the originally planned route at the Randfontein Golf Club in Homestead Avenue has to be remapped.

“Robinson Dam had to be excluded from our route. The new route is also a bit overgrown and needs to be cleaned. It was therefore decided to postpone the launch for a few weeks.”

“We are still very excited about Randfontein parkrun and will keep you updated,” he said.
