The Westonaria Police and other stakeholders visited different preschools in the area recently to create awareness about bullying.
Sergeant Audrey Sefara, the Westonaria Police spokesperson, said the Westonaria Police Social Crime Prevention Officer, Communications Officer and Crime Gathering Officer, Victim Friendly members, Youth Desk members and patrollers visited different preschools around the precinct to teach Grade R learners about crime safety, discipline and bullying.
“The learners were also reminded of how to protect themselves in the case of fire. They were then given pamphlets displaying the Crime Stop and Childline telephone numbers to colour-in, and each one received a party pack too.”
