He told the Herald it was a big honour to have been invited to such a special occasion in SA’s neighbouring country.

“I am someone who takes great interest in people living with albinism. I have since started to help breaking the boundaries and stereotypes that affect people with this condition,” Godfrey said.

He added during his time in Zimbabwe, he has created new connections and is determined to explore the hardships that people with albinism face.

“I am very grateful and would like to thank all the organisers who made this possible,” Godfrey said.

Brenda Chibvongodze Mudzimu, of the Mr and Miss Albinism Pageant said, “We were thrilled with Godfrey’s presence, and amazed as his life revolves around vulnerable people. Godfrey is a man with a golden heart. His random acts of kindness are something everyone can learn from.”
