Retired teachers honour mothers

Elderly mothers in Mohlakeng were showered with gifts by the West Rand Teachers’ Association for Mother’s Day.

According to Zachariah Lekgatle, chairperson of the association, this was a token of appreciation for them being mothers leading by example.

Mothers were being reminded of the very important role they have played in bringing about a good change in the community and were thanked for offering their motherly support whenever needed in society.
