It’s voting day tomorrow 8 May and the Herald has made a checklist for voters to use to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Remember to take your ID book/ Smartcard ID
• Find out what time your voting station opens and be there an hour early
• Take some snacks and refreshments for some extra energy whilst waiting in line
• If you are a media socialite, remember to pack a power bank to keep your phone charged
• Take an extra black ball point pen or two just in case the ones provided run out
• Bring a compact, portable stool that is easy to carry around to sit on
• Wear comfortable clothing items that are suitable for the weather on the day
• Pack an awesome book to read to help pass the time
