Mohlakeng unites in a night of prayer

A 180-minute Worship Day service held at the St John the Divine Orphans and Outreach Centre drew a big crowd during the weekend.

The Mohlakeng Batho Botlhe Baptist Church held a 180-minute Worship Day service that drew a big crowd of approximately 300 people on Saturday, 4 May.

The St John the Divine Orphans and Outreach Centre was the venue.

According to Busi Motha, coordinator of the Worship Day, the event was aimed at reminding people of their existence and how God intends to help all through any hardship.

She added the purpose was to also give people strength and regain hope so that they can live in peace and harmony.

“We are all at times in situations that require us to pray for God’s help. As long as we believe, God will takes care of us.”

The event saw numerous great gospel singers in attendance, including Skhumbuzo Motha, Poelano Malema, Bernard Mabote, Hannah Senoamadi and Naomi Thubisi.
