Big service held in honour of the resurrection
A conference and special service were held to honour and recognise Christ's resurrection.
The Answer Bible Church marked Easter Sunday, 21 April, with a conference and special service celebration on a smallholding in Hillside, to honour and recognise Christ’s resurrection.
Pastor Joseph Manzini said the church was proud to be able to remember Jesus’ sacrifices and will continue to preach the gospel to its congregation.
“We did it [the conference and special service] under ‘The Great Commission’ theme,” he said.
Pastor Joseph then referred to Matthew 28:18–20, which says: “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in and on earth has been given me, therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age’.”
