This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Rand Show, one of this country’s oldest and most well-loved events on the entertainment calendar.
To celebrate 125 years, a host of new, exciting and trending entertainment offerings have been added to the old favourites to keep young, old – and everyone in between – entertained.
The iconic event opened to huge crowds at the start of the recent Easter weekend – a demonstration of its place in the hearts of generations of South Africans.
In celebration of this anniversary and to ensure loyal supporters get a chance to attend, the organisers have set the weekday price for tickets at R40 for children under 17 and R80 for adults.
In addition, all adult pre-purchased online tickets will automatically be entered into the ‘Win a new Suzuki Swift’ competition. The winner will be drawn and announced on Monday, 29 April.
The show runs from noon to 7pm daily during the week, and just by attending, visitors get a full day’s entertainment for the whole family plus many chances to win prizes valued at over R1,2 million!
