Man missing for almost a month

Family worried sick about missing loved one last seen on 15 March.

Karabo Lekaota, 22, has not been seen or heard from since leaving his home in Mohlakeng for work early on 15 March.

According to his worried grandfather, Ishmael Lekaota, his son worked for a company in Aureus. They were used to Karabo being on the road with the trucks, but got worried when he was gone for longer than five days.

“He always sent us a WhatsApp to tell us how he was doing, and we found it strange not hearing from him. We went to his place of work to look for him on 21 March but they couldn’t find him on their system. We have no idea where he could be,” he said.

He said that they finally reported him missing at the Randfontein Police on 4 April.

“Our whole family is very worried and we just want to find out if he is still alive,” he added.

Karabo was last seen wearing a red shirt, black pants, and blue sneakers. He is of medium build, has a medium complexion and short hair.
